Role Overview:
Provides direct patient care in a technically complex ICU environment, utilizing advanced nursing skills and evidence-based practices.
Models proficiency by precepting new staff and supports a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Contributes to safety, quality, and patient wellness through clinical expertise and continuous learning.
Responsibilities:
– Deliver top-of-scope nursing care aligned with the nursing process.
– Support specialty education and competency validation.
– Foster a collaborative, innovative clinical environment focused on safety and quality.
Qualifications & Skills:
– Graduate of an accredited nursing program with valid RN licensure.
– Minimum of 6 months ICU RN experience or completion of a fellowship program.
– Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
– Strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and dedication to professional growth.
