Role Overview:
Seeking a Full-Time Charge MRI Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures primarily in MRI, with responsibilities including patient preparation, equipment setup, and independent operation of studies. The role involves overseeing shift workflows, troubleshooting technical issues, mentoring staff and students, and serving as a clinical resource. The technologist may assume supervisory duties in absence of management and assist in developing departmental training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients and equipment for imaging procedures.
- Perform studies independently, including portable and emergency exams.
- Manage shift operations, workflow, and prioritize tasks.
- Serve as a clinical expert, problem-solver, and mentor for technologists.
- Act as a liaison between the team and supervisor, ensuring effective communication and supply management.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate degree or Trade School equivalency.
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and/or MR.
- 2-5 years of experience; supervisory experience is a plus.
- Licenses and certifications may include IEMA (excluding MRI), RTR, CT, MR, and others.
- Preferred experience of 5-10 years and CPR certification.
