Charge CT Radiology Technologist (Nights)

Role Overview:

This position involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily in CT (Computed Tomography), on adult and pediatric patients for diagnostic and treatment purposes. The technologist prepares patients and equipment, conducts studies independently, and assists with complex exams. They oversee shift operations, manage workflow, and serve as a clinical resource and mentor to staff and students. The role includes delegating tasks, troubleshooting equipment or patient care issues, and acting as a liaison between the team and supervisor.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients and equipment for imaging procedures.
  • Perform studies independently, including portable and on-call exams.
  • Manage daily shift operations and workflow adjustments.
  • Serve as an expert resource, assisting with difficult exams and mentoring staff.
  • Communicate effectively with the team and maintain supplies.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Associate degree or Trade School equivalency.
  • Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)).
  • 2-5 years of experience; supervisory experience is a plus.
  • Licenses and certifications including RTR, CT, MR, and others, depending on location.
  • Preferred experience includes 5-10 years in advanced imaging modalities and CPR certification.

Additional Details:

  • Night shift, four days per week, with no weekends or call.
  • Night shift differential added to hourly pay.
