Certified Surgical Technologist II supports complex surgical procedures in an operating room by preparing, maintaining, and protecting sterile fields to ensure safe, efficient patient care.
Key Duties
- Prepare and maintain aseptic technique, including sterile field setup and maintenance
- Receive, manage, and organize surgical instruments and supplies
- Anticipate surgeon and team needs to support smooth procedure flow
- Maintain strict infection control standards throughout assigned cases
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary surgical team
- Assist with training and mentoring junior staff as needed
- Support clinical excellence in a diverse, patient-centered environment
