A full-time Surgical Technologist position is available in the Surgery Department at a children’s hospital main campus. The role involves assisting surgeons during pediatric intraoperative procedures, maintaining sterile technique, preparing age-appropriate instruments, and collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care. The technologist will provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and staff, while practicing open communication and teamwork. Responsibilities include participating in quality improvement activities, acting as a role model, and supporting departmental goals. Work hours are Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 7 AM to 7 PM, with potential call duties. Candidates must have an Associate’s degree from an accredited Surgical Technology program, be certified as a Surgical Technologist (CST), and obtain CPR certification within two weeks of starting. The role requires working at both main and south campuses.
