Role: Respiratory Therapist
Responsibilities: Performs a variety of respiratory therapy procedures on patients with diverse needs and abnormalities, including assisting with patient care, making frequent physical location and position changes, and handling emergency situations. Supervises no positions but may wear protective equipment and handle chemicals.
Qualifications & Skills: Requires ability to perform duties with or without accommodations, lift loads up to 50 pounds, maintain strength, mobility, and stamina for physical activities, and meet visual and hearing requirements with assistance. Must be able to respond to infectious diseases, emergencies, and work irregular hours.
Physical & Activity Conditions: Includes sitting occasionally, walking and standing frequently, and performing activities like bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, and twisting occasionally. Activities involve continuous sitting, frequent walking and standing, and occasional bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, and twisting.
Physical Requirements: Ability to perform essential duties despite disabilities with accommodations, physical strength for lifting, mobility, stamina, and ability to wear protective gear. May be exposed to infectious, toxic, or caustic substances.
Visual & Hearing Requirements: Corrected vision and clear hearing with assistance.
