Role Summary: Provides anesthesia care in the operating room supporting surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of an anesthesiologist. Conducts preoperative evaluations, postoperative follow-up, and acts as a patient advocate, liaison, and advisor for patients, families, and physicians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administers anesthesia across a wide range of case types, supporting a Level I Trauma Center and multiple non-OR sites including GI, Pulm, Cath/EP, IR, OB, and MRI.
- Supports a diverse patient population, performing anesthesia for both pediatric and adult patients.
- Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team and supports a comprehensive perioperative environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Master’s Degree in Nursing (required).
- Strong clinical skills in anesthesia practice, with ability to manage diverse cases.
- Excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities.
- Open to SRNAs; supportive of professional collaboration and continuous learning.
