Role: Provides anesthesia care in the operating room and support for various procedures under supervision. Conducts preoperative evaluations, postoperative follow-up, and acts as a patient advocate and liaison between patients, families, and physicians.
Responsibilities: Administers anesthesia for a wide range of cases in a Level I Trauma Center, supporting nearly all case types except heart/lung transplants and burns. Provides support across multiple non-OR sites including GI, Pulmonary, Cath/EP lab, IR, OB, and MRI. Works within a facility with extensive specialized services and a large surgical volume.
Qualifications & Skills: Master’s Degree in Nursing required. Ability to practice independently with support from specialists. Strong patient communication, clinical judgment, and teamwork skills. Preference for CRNA experience in diverse surgical settings.
Key Duties:
- Perform anesthesia for adult and pediatric patients across various surgical and diagnostic procedures.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and optimal care.
- Support non-OR anesthesia services at multiple facilities.
