Role Overview: This position supports patient care activities under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Nurse, assisting with routine tasks in a nursing unit.
Key Responsibilities: Assist with patient admission, transfer, and discharge procedures; prepare rooms and equipment; transport stable patients safely; maintain confidentiality; perform clerical duties; replenish supplies; respond to emergencies; and communicate effectively with team members.
Patient Care: Support a safe, comfortable environment by performing unit-specific care, recognizing patient condition changes, and adapting care to meet individual needs, including psychosocial, cultural, and developmental considerations.
Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; CNA license required; BLS certification required; prior patient care experience in acute settings is preferred.
Additional Requirements: Ability to perform assigned responsibilities competently, maintain organized supplies, and respond appropriately to emergencies.
Schedule & Work Type: Full-time, working from 7AM to 7PM.
