The Certified Nursing Assistant provides personal care and maintains a safe, clean environment for hospice patients in an inpatient facility.
Reporting to the Nurse Manager, this full-time, non-exempt role offers a starting pay of $20.50/hour, with night and weekend differentials, working a 12-hour night shift (8 pm – 8 am) on a 3×12 schedule, including some weekends.
Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, grooming, transfers, ambulation, meal preparation, and documenting patient interventions.
Additional duties involve maintaining cleanliness, observing patient conditions, reporting changes, and supporting staff and family relationships.
Qualifications include current WV CNA license, at least one year of experience, reliable transportation, and physical ability to perform job functions.
Physical requirements include lifting, walking, and communication skills, with use of medical and office equipment.
