Role: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Responsibilities include:
- Providing routine daily nursing care to residents in accordance with established procedures
- Documenting resident care accurately
- Creating and maintaining a calm, supportive environment
- Preparing residents for meals, serving trays, and assisting with feeding as needed
- Monitoring residents’ personal care and hygiene, including bathing assistance
- Assisting with transportation, lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transferring residents
- Promptly responding to resident calls and reporting changes in condition
- Measuring and recording vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure
Qualifications & Skills:
- Current CNA certification in New York State in good standing
- Dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and committed to resident well-being
- Genuine interest in assisting residents, including those who are ill, injured, or emotionally upset
- Patience, cheerful disposition, and teamwork orientation
- Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, adapt under pressure, and maintain flexibility
