Job Summary
Seeking a certified Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) with completion of an accredited training program.
Primary responsibilities include obtaining and documenting patient information, preparing examination rooms, assisting with patient visits, and supporting provider procedures such as EKGs, wound care, and minor surgeries.
Other duties involve medication administration, specimen collection, phlebotomy, clerical tasks, and maintaining patient records using electronic systems.
Candidate will facilitate patient communication, support patient education, inventory supplies, ensure infection control, and participate in safety and quality improvement initiatives.
Work typically occurs in a clinical environment, with some travel possible.
Qualifications include completion of specialty training, certification, and relevant skills in patient care, documentation, and infection prevention.
