Certified Family Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a full-time Family Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing high-quality, community-based primary care in Portsmouth, VA.

Provide comprehensive, evidence-based care for adult patients, focusing on prevention, chronic, and acute conditions.

Collaborate with patients and care teams to develop personalized care plans respecting diverse backgrounds.

Perform health assessments, physical exams, diagnostics, and prescribe medications using onsite labs and pharmacy.

Participate in health promotion activities, quality improvement, and organizational committees.

Achieve clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction benchmarks through team-based care and leadership.

Requirements include NP board certification in primary care or related fields, VA licensure, 3-5 years of primary care experience, EMR proficiency, and CPR certification. The role offers a salary range of $110,000-$140,000, with benefits including health, dental, vision insurance, and paid time off. Applicants should hold a Master’s degree and active VA RN and DEA licenses. This in-person position supports underserved populations, emphasizing compassionate, equitable healthcare delivery.
