The CSAC serves as a therapeutic counselor under supervision, providing individual and group therapy within a residential substance abuse treatment program.
Essential duties include assessing clients, developing and modifying treatment plans, coordinating care, supervising staff and interns, managing documentation, and collaborating with mental health and community professionals.
They facilitate crisis intervention, advocate for clients, and coordinate family and aftercare services. The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, leadership, and project management skills.
