The CSAC, supervised by the Lead Counselor, serves as a therapeutic counselor in a residential substance abuse treatment program.
Provides individual and group therapy, treatment planning, case management, and crisis intervention. Supervises client assessments, monitors progress, and ensures proper documentation. Collaborates with team members, families, and external agencies to coordinate care and program development. Conducts client evaluations, modifies treatment plans, and participates in quality assurance activities. Trains and supervises staff and interns, and administers drug screening tests. The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills, with full-time hours in Lynchburg, VA. Benefits include health, dental, vision insurance, and retirement plans.
