Caregiver (Personal Care Assistant)

Role Overview

The Caregiver provides hands-on support to senior residents, fostering meaningful relationships and ensuring their safety, dignity, and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care
  • Follow and document updates to Individualized Service Plans (ISP)
  • Promote safety and independence while engaging residents in conversation and daily activities
  • Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming environment
  • Communicate effectively with families and care team members
  • In Memory Care, create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss

Qualifications & Skills:

  • High School Diploma or GED; age 18+
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills
