Role Overview
The Caregiver provides compassionate, respectful support to residents, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care. They follow personalized care plans, document changes, and promote safety, dignity, and independence for residents.
They engage residents through conversation and activities, support dining services, and maintain a clean, welcoming environment. In Memory Care, they create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss. Effective communication with families and care team members is essential.
Qualifications & Skills
- High School Diploma/GED; age 18+
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
- Demonstrates compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills
