Caregiver (Personal Care Assistant)

Role Overview

The Caregiver provides hands-on support to seniors, focusing on enhancing their quality of life through personalized care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care.
  • Follow and document changes in Individualized Service Plans (ISP).
  • Promote safety, dignity, and independence for residents.
  • Engage residents with conversation and daily activities to foster meaningful relationships.
  • Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
  • Communicate effectively with families and care team members.
  • In Memory Care, create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • High School Diploma or GED; age 18+
  • CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain.
  • Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills.
