Caregiver Role Summary

As a Caregiver, your primary responsibility is to provide hands-on support to residents, promoting their safety, dignity, and independence. You will assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care, following individualized service plans (ISP) and documenting any changes. Engaging residents in conversation and daily activities is essential to foster meaningful relationships and enhance their quality of life.

You will support dining services, maintain a clean and welcoming environment, and communicate effectively with residents’ families and care teams. In Memory Care settings, you will create enriching experiences tailored to residents with memory loss.

Key qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, age 18+, and CPR/First Aid certification or the ability to obtain it. The role requires compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills.
