Role Overview

The Lead Caregiver serves as a shift leader, ensuring high-quality, consistent resident care while coaching and supporting the caregiving team. Key responsibilities include leading shift assignments, managing attendance, providing hands-on ADL support, coaching staff on quality standards, reviewing charting to align with Individualized Service Plans (ISP), monitoring resident health, and communicating concerns promptly. Additionally, the role involves supporting onboarding and mentoring new team members, promoting safety, compliance, and smooth shift transitions.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • High School Diploma/GED, age 18+
  • CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications
  • Strong communication, delegation, and decision-making skills
  • Experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior care

The position requires being both a working caregiver and a frontline leader, exemplifying professionalism, accountability, and compassionate service.
