Care Manager

Role Overview

The Lead Caregiver serves as a shift leader in senior care, ensuring high-quality, consistent resident care while supporting and coaching the caregiving team.
The position involves leading shift assignments, managing attendance, providing hands-on assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL), and coaching staff on quality standards, documentation, and hospitality.
Additionally, responsibilities include reviewing charting to ensure compliance with Individualized Service Plans (ISP), monitoring resident health changes, communicating concerns promptly, and supporting onboarding and mentorship of new team members.
Safety, compliance, and smooth shift transitions are essential aspects of the role.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • High School Diploma/GED and 18+ years of age
  • CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications
  • Strong communication, delegation, and decision-making abilities
  • Experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior care

  • Leading shift operations and team support
