Role Overview

The Caregiver provides hands-on support to senior residents, focusing on enhancing their quality of life through personalized care and meaningful engagement. Key responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care, while following Individualized Service Plans (ISP) and documenting any changes. The role emphasizes promoting safety, dignity, and independence, engaging residents in conversation and activities, supporting dining services, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment. In Memory Care, caregivers create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss. Effective communication with residents, families, and care team members is essential.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • High School Diploma or GED, age 18+
  • CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain
  • Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills
