Care Manager

Lead Caregiver

Role Overview: The Lead Caregiver serves as a shift leader in senior care, ensuring high-quality, consistent resident care while coaching and supporting the caregiving team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead shift assignments, manage attendance, and coordinate coverage
  • Provide hands-on support with activities of daily living (ADL)
  • Coach caregivers on quality, hospitality, and documentation standards
  • Review charting and ensure alignment with Individualized Service Plans (ISP)
  • Monitor resident changes and communicate concerns promptly
  • Support onboarding and mentor new team members
  • Promote safety, compliance, and smooth shift transitions

Qualifications & Skills:

  • High School Diploma/GED, age 18+
  • CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications
  • Strong communication, delegation, and decision-making skills
  • Experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior care preferred
