Caregiver Role Overview

As a Caregiver, you will provide hands-on support to residents, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care. Your responsibilities include following individualized service plans, documenting changes, and promoting safety, dignity, and independence.

You will engage residents through conversation and activities, support dining services, and maintain a clean, welcoming environment. In Memory Care, you will create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss. Effective communication with families and care leaders is essential.

Key qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, age 18+, CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain it, and qualities such as compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills.
