Role Overview

The Lead Caregiver is a frontline leader responsible for providing exceptional resident care and supporting the caregiving team.
Key duties include leading shift assignments, managing attendance, and ensuring smooth shift transitions.
They offer hands-on assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), coach caregivers on quality standards, review charting to align with Individualized Service Plans (ISP), and monitor resident changes to communicate concerns promptly.
Additionally, they support onboarding and mentor new team members, promote safety compliance, and model professionalism and compassionate service.

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma/GED and age 18+
• CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications
• Strong communication, delegation, and decision-making abilities
• Experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior care environments
