Role Overview

The Caregiver is a vital team member dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors by providing hands-on support and fostering meaningful relationships. This role involves assisting residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care, while adhering to Individualized Service Plans (ISP) and documenting any changes. The Caregiver promotes safety, dignity, and independence, engaging residents through conversation and activities to enrich their daily experiences.

Key responsibilities include supporting dining services, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and effectively communicating with families and care leaders. In Memory Care, the caregiver creates enriching experiences tailored to residents with memory loss. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, age 18+, and CPR/First Aid certification or the ability to obtain it. Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills are essential.
