Role Overview

The Caregiver provides hands-on support to residents, assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care. They follow individualized service plans, document changes, and promote safety, dignity, and independence. Building meaningful relationships and engaging residents through conversation and activities are essential parts of the role.

In Memory Care settings, caregivers create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss. Effective communication with families and care team members is vital to ensure quality care.

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma/GED and age 18+
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain
• Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills

Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care and daily activities
• Adhere to and document progress based on Individualized Service Plans
• Support safety, dignity, and independence
• Engage residents through conversation and activities
• Support dining services and maintain a clean environment

Benefits & Compensation

Pay range: $18.92 – $23.65 per hour. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, and disability plans, retirement savings, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and flexible payment options. Bonuses may also be available based on performance and role.
