Role Overview
The caregiver provides essential support to seniors by assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care, ensuring safety, dignity, and independence.
They follow individualized service plans (ISPs), document changes, and promote a safe, respectful environment. Engaging residents through conversation and activities, they support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming space.
In Memory Care, caregivers create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss, fostering meaningful interactions. Effective communication with residents, families, and care teams is vital.
Qualifications & Skills
- High School Diploma/GED and age 18+
- CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain it
- Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills
