Role Overview
The caregiver provides hands-on support to seniors, focusing on enhancing their quality of life through compassionate, respectful care. They assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care, following individualized service plans and documenting changes.
Key responsibilities include promoting safety, dignity, and independence, engaging residents through conversations and activities, supporting dining services, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment. In Memory Care, the caregiver creates enriching experiences for residents with memory loss.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED, age 18+
- CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain
- Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills
