Role Overview
The Caregiver provides hands-on support to senior residents, promoting their safety, dignity, and independence. Responsibilities include assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care, while following individualized service plans and documenting changes. Engaging residents through conversation and activities, supporting dining services, and maintaining a clean environment are key duties. In Memory Care, creating enriching experiences for residents with memory loss is emphasized.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High School Diploma/GED; age 18+
- CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain
- Compassion, reliability, and effective communication skills
