Lead Caregiver Role
We are seeking a Lead Caregiver to serve as a shift leader in providing exceptional resident care and supporting the caregiving team.
Responsibilities include
leading shift assignments, managing attendance, and coordinating coverage delivering hands-on assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) coaching caregivers on quality standards, hospitality, and documentation reviewing charting to ensure alignment with Individualized Service Plans (ISP) monitoring resident health changes and communicating concerns effectively mentoring new team members and supporting onboarding promoting safety, compliance, and smooth shift transitions
The role combines hands-on caregiving with frontline leadership, requiring professionalism, accountability, and compassion.
Qualifications include
High School Diploma/GED, age 18+ CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications strong communication, delegation, and decision-making skills experience in assisted living or senior care preferred
