Role: Cardiovascular Tech RCIS responsible for supporting invasive cardiovascular procedures under supervision and physician guidance.
Responsibilities: Assist in teaching and orientation, operate imaging equipment, monitor patient status, assist with procedures as a scrub tech and circulator, manage supplies and inventory, prepare patients and lab for procedures, remove sheaths post-procedure, troubleshoot equipment, and ensure safety and sterile techniques.
Qualifications & Skills: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in science or healthcare experience, current AHA Advanced Cardio Life Support certification, RCIS certification within six months (or ARRT and TX RT(R)), ability to interpret EKGs and pressures, knowledge of medications, and effective inventory management.
Key Duties: Support diagnostic and interventional procedures, operate imaging and physiologic recording equipment, assist with patient transport, and ensure readiness and safety of the cath lab environment.
