Role: Cardiovascular Tech RCIS responsible for supporting invasive cardiovascular procedures under supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians during procedures as a scrub tech and monitor tech, interpreting EKGs and managing physiologic data.
- Operate imaging equipment and assist with diagnostic procedures, including patient monitoring and supply handling.
- Help with patient transport, prepare and clean the cath lab, and maintain sterile conditions.
- Order supplies, manage inventory, and troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Support staff and students through teaching and orientation.
- Demonstrate knowledge of medications, procedures, and patient safety protocols.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in science or healthcare experience.
- Current AHA Advanced Cardio Life Support certification.
- RCIS certification within six months of hire or ARRT/TX RT(R) certification.
- Knowledge of invasive procedures, patient care, and equipment operation.
