Surgical Tech II – Cardiovascular supports complex cardiac and vascular procedures in advanced operating rooms.
Key responsibilities include:
- Prepare, sterilize, organize, and maintain surgical instruments and supplies.
- Set up, monitor, and maintain sterile fields throughout procedures.
- Anticipate surgeon needs and assist during procedures within the surgical team.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety, infection-control, and sterile processing standards.
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia professionals to support high-quality, patient-centered care.
Qualifications & skills:
- Proficiency in surgical technology fundamentals with strong attention to sterile technique.
- Sound knowledge of cardiovascular/vascular surgical instrumentation and procedural support.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity operating room environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
