Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Technician will support electrophysiology procedures by operating specialized equipment during cardiac EP studies and assisting electrophysiology physicians with the implantation of pacemakers and other cardiac devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up EP lab equipment for electrophysiology studies.
- Operate specialized monitoring and procedural equipment during EP procedures.
- Assist with pacemaker and other cardiac device implantation.
- Support diagnostic and treatment procedures for cardiac arrhythmias.
- Work closely with cardiac electrophysiologists to ensure safe, efficient procedure support.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience as an EP lab technician or in a related cardiac cath/EP setting.
- Strong technical proficiency with electrophysiology equipment and device-related procedures.
- Ability to follow sterile technique and maintain patient safety standards.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills in a high-acuity clinical environment.
