Cardiac Telemetry Nurse – Night Shift

Role Overview:

This position involves providing direct patient care in a Cardiac Telemetry unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care. The nurse promotes patient and family-centered care, educates on illness management, and participates in safety, quality, and regulatory activities. Collaboration with the healthcare team to develop and communicate individualized care plans is essential, with a focus on assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs. The role requires maintaining a safe environment and applying critical nursing skills.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • RN license with a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s preferred)
  • Telemetry experience and BSN degree are highly preferred
  • No prior experience required; leadership experience is not mandatory
  • Ability to work in a safety-sensitive role, demonstrating alertness and safety awareness

Key Duties:

  • Monitoring patients using telemetry according to established protocols
  • Educating patients and families on post-treatment care and medication management
  • Participating in professional development and quality improvement initiatives
  • Developing and communicating comprehensive care plans in collaboration with the team and patients
