Role Overview:
This position involves performing a variety of cardiac diagnostic tests, including transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, stress testing, Holter monitoring, and cardiac Doppler. The Cardiac Sonographer will conduct procedures at various locations, maintain accurate patient logs, update charges, and manage patient files.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED
- RDCS or equivalent certification (required)
- Preferred: Associate’s Degree in Allied Health or Sonography, with 2+ years of experience
- CPR certification is advantageous
Responsibilities:
- Perform cardiac tests and procedures as ordered
- Ensure accurate documentation and billing
- Maintain patient records and logs
Additional Details:
- Work as needed on a day shift, with no call responsibilities
- Open to new graduates and experienced Sonographers
