Role Overview:
This position involves performing a variety of cardiac testing procedures including transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, stress echo, treadmill stress testing, holter monitoring, and cardiac Doppler. The Cardiac Sonographer is responsible for conducting tests at multiple locations, maintaining patient logs, updating charges, and managing cardiac lab files.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED
- RDCS or equivalent certification (required)
- Experience in echocardiography or related fields preferred; no experience necessary for some roles
- CPR certification is a plus
Responsibilities include:
- Performing diagnostic cardiac procedures accurately
- Ensuring proper documentation and patient record management
- Utilizing cardiac lab software for charges and records
Additional Information:
- Open to new graduates, upcoming grads, and experienced Sonographers
- Work on an as-needed PRN basis during day shifts, with no call responsibilities
