Role Overview:
The PRN Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) performs various cardiac tests, including transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, stress testing, holter monitoring, and cardiac Doppler, in multiple settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducts cardiac diagnostic procedures accurately.
- Maintains patient logs and updates charges in the system.
- Manages and files patient records related to cardiac testing.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- RDCS or equivalent certification is mandatory; experience is preferred but not required.
- Preferred: Associate’s degree in Allied Health or Sonography and at least 2 years of experience.
- Licenses & Certifications: RDCS or similar, CPR.
