Role Overview
This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Diagnostic Lab, providing non-invasive diagnostic services such as echocardiograms, stress tests, Holter monitoring, and EKG processing. The nurse will deliver direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, while promoting patient-centered care and education on managing their condition.
Key responsibilities include developing individualized care plans, ensuring communication across care teams, assessing physical and psychosocial needs, and supporting safety and quality standards. The role requires active participation in professional development and adherence to regulatory compliance.
Qualifications include a Nursing Diploma or higher, RN licensure, and preferred experience of 2+ years in cardiac or critical care nursing. BLS/ACLS certification is required or must be obtained within 90 days. Candidates with Bachelor’s degrees are preferred.
