Cath Lab Tech supports cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures in a hospital cath lab setting.
- Prepare patients for diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Operate fluoroscopy and patient monitoring equipment
- Maintain strict sterile technique throughout procedures
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional care
- Monitor hemodynamics and recognize/act on emergent situations
- Accurately document procedure and patient information in the EMR
Qualifications & Skills: Strong understanding of sterile procedural practices, proficiency with fluoroscopy/monitoring equipment, ability to monitor hemodynamics, and clear, accurate EMR documentation. Works effectively in a collaborative, patient-centered team environment.
