Role Overview:
This is a full-time advanced modality technologist position specializing in cardiac and vascular imaging procedures, including support in Cath Lab and hybrid OR settings.
The role involves performing diagnostic imaging using Siemens equipment, supporting procedures by monitoring patient vitals, setting up sterile fields, and collaborating with healthcare providers.
Cross-training for scrubbing is available, offering opportunities to expand skills beyond general radiology.
The position emphasizes providing high-quality images for complex cases and ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients and equipment for imaging procedures.
- Perform studies independently, including portable exams and on-call situations.
- Support in vascular procedures by operating fluoroscopy equipment and assisting during interventions.
- Monitor patient vitals and maintain sterile procedures in collaboration with the medical team.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate’s Degree or equivalency from trade school.
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)).
- New graduates and experienced technologists are encouraged to apply.
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience, certifications in CPR and IV therapy, and licenses such as RTR, CT, MR, BD, CI, VI, or RCIS.
