Cath Lab Tech
Support cardiologists during invasive cardiovascular procedures in a hospital-based cardiovascular department. Operate and assist with advanced imaging equipment and ensure accurate, safe diagnostic and interventional workflow. Monitor patient vital signs throughout procedures and assist the care team with patient preparation and post-procedure support.
Key Duties
- Assist cardiologists during catheterization and other invasive cardiovascular procedures.
- Operate imaging equipment used in the cath lab.
- Monitor and report patient vitals during procedures.
- Prepare patients and support procedure readiness and safety.
- Collaborate with the cardiovascular team to maintain high-quality patient care.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong knowledge of cath lab workflow and sterile procedure practices.
- Ability to operate imaging equipment and support interventional procedures.
- Competence in patient monitoring and recognizing changes in vitals.
- Effective teamwork, communication, and attention to patient safety.
