Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab
Provide specialized nursing care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in a Cardiac Cath Lab.
- Perform comprehensive pre- and post-procedure assessments.
- Continuously monitor patients and respond promptly to changes in condition.
- Administer medications and maintain accurate documentation of care.
- Support physicians during procedures while maintaining strict sterile technique.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
- Manage emergent situations and provide appropriate clinical interventions.
- Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery, and care instructions.
Qualifications & Skills
- Current Registered Nurse licensure and strong clinical judgment.
- Proficiency in monitoring, medication administration, and post-procedure care.
- Ability to maintain sterile technique and function effectively in a high-acuity setting.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and patient education skills.
- Competence in recognizing and responding to life-threatening or rapidly evolving situations.
