Cardiac Cath Lab Radiology Tech to support interventional cardiology procedures in an acute care environment.
- Operate fluoroscopy and cardiac catheterization laboratory imaging systems to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Maintain strict radiation safety practices and adhere to sterile technique throughout procedures.
- Assist physicians and nurses during cardiac and vascular interventions.
- Prepare patients, perform proper positioning, and provide support with patient monitoring as needed.
- Document imaging accurately and ensure appropriate records for procedures.
- Maintain competency through continuous learning and collaboration in a patient-first team.
- Participate in on-call coverage as required.
Key qualifications/skills: Radiologic technology expertise, strong knowledge of fluoroscopy/cath lab imaging, commitment to radiation safety and sterility, excellent patient care and teamwork, and attention to accurate documentation.
