Role Overview:
This position is for a Nurse Manager in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, responsible for coordinating patient care, personnel management, and equipment maintenance. The role involves managing staff including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and ensuring departmental productivity aligns with operational goals. The manager may participate in staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation, while overseeing patient care plans based on assessments and medical treatments. Responsibilities also include staff scheduling, payroll reconciliation, performance reviews, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The role requires strong leadership, critical thinking, and clinical expertise to support advanced cardiovascular procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN/MSN accepted)
- Experience: 2-5 years in nursing; preferred 5-10 years with supervisory experience
- Licenses & Certifications: RN license; BLS/ACLS required or must obtain within 90 days
- Preferred: Cardiac Cath Lab or Electrophysiology Lab experience; procedural or critical care nursing background if no Cath Lab experience
