We are seeking experienced Senior Mental Health Counselors with a Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing direct client care through treatment planning, individual, family, and group therapy. Supporting the development and maintenance of standards of practice and quality services. Serving as a resource for clinicians, offering consultation, education, and mentorship. Coordinating services with healthcare professionals, including physicians and ARNPs. Engaging in client, family, peer, and community education. Maintaining current knowledge through ongoing professional development. Qualifications and skills required:
Master’s degree in a relevant health-related field. Alaska clinical licenses such as Licensed Social Worker, Clinical Social Worker, Psychologist, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Professional Counselor upon hire. At least 5 years of clinical experience. Advanced clinical skills and the ability to mentor others. Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
