Role Overview:
The Behavior Intervention Implementer (BII) supports students with disabilities by implementing ABA treatment plans, behavior interventions, and classroom support under supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute behavior intervention plans, gather data, and document progress.
Assist students with individualized goals, personal care, and hygiene, ensuring dignity and independence.
Support classroom instruction, reinforce positive behavior, and aid teachers in creating conducive learning environments.
Participate in meetings, training, and school events, maintaining communication with staff and families.
Contribute to school community initiatives and uphold school policies and standards.
Perform general clerical duties and assist with crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
Engage in ongoing professional development and demonstrate leadership through problem-solving.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with at least 1 year classroom experience as a special education or behavioral aide.
Knowledge of ABA principles and developmental disabilities.
Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
Ability to physically assist students, respond to behaviors promptly, and maintain emotional regulation.
Preferred bilingual skills (e.g., Spanish).

Ability to supervise students actively, respond swiftly to behaviors, and support with mobility and personal care while ensuring safety and dignity.
