Role: The General Service Technician performs non-technical vehicle services such as oil changes, tire and wheel services, alignments, and fluid flushes, working alongside ASE Certified Technicians to gain experience and advance toward certification.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a company vehicle for customer transportation and parts pickup.
- Conduct vehicle inspections, tire mounting/dismounting, balancing, rotations, and basic services as directed.
- Observe vehicle conditions, identify repair needs, and document findings using company tools.
- Maintain cleanliness of the shop and service areas, follow safety procedures, and report concerns.
- Assist with vehicle safety and emissions inspections following regulations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High motivation and a passion for cars; prior automotive experience preferred but not required.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to work Monday through Saturday.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
Compensation & Benefits: $12 to $15 per hour based on experience, with benefits including paid vacation, holidays, insurance options, 401(k), tuition reimbursement, and opportunities for advancement.
