Role Overview:
Assess, evaluate, and treat patients of all ages in a clinical setting. Serve as a professional role model and clinical resource for providers, staff, residents, and students.
Responsibilities include:
Performing physical and developmental assessments, documenting evaluations, and updating plans of care based on patient response.
Providing emergency care, including CPR, and delivering physical care following medical directives.
Designing, implementing, and revising treatment plans; instructing athletes and families on treatment and self-management.
Assessing patient compliance and outcomes; maintaining accurate documentation within scope of practice.
Monitoring athlete responses, providing athletic training services to schools and events, and staying current with medical practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
Licensed Athletic Trainer (AT) in Illinois, BLS certification, and BOC certification.
Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training or related field.
Strong assessment, documentation, communication, and emergency response skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team.
